Beth Mosier
Artistic Conductor
Beth is delighted to be the Artistic Conductor of the Reading Community Singers and to have the opportunity to conduct the talented, hard-working, and dedicated performers. Beth holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Education with a major in vocal music and a Masters of Arts Education with a major in administration. She attended Boston University, The University of MA in Lowell, and Fitchburg State College. She has been an active musician, director, music teacher, and performer in the Boston area for over 30 years. She has been a conductor and or performer for GBARC, Quannapowitt Players, Colonial Chorus, Melrose Community Players, and many other community theater organizations. She has also been the music director for The Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading, St. Peter’s Parish of Malden, and the North Andover Community Chorus.

Currently Beth is a choral music teacher for the Burlington Public Schools, a private voice teacher, and the proprietor of The Drama Shop, a popular music/drama workshop for children. She most recently music directed the musical Footloose for the Winthrop Playmakers and performed Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony on Boston Common with the Landmark Symphony Orchestra of Boston.

Beth resides in Wakefield with her husband Al who is a composer/arranger and a music teacher for the Reading Public Schools. She is also the proud mother of two sons, Jeff and Brian.
