Since 1919, Reading Community Singers has supported the advancement of music education by providing an annual scholarship to a student pursuing a career in music.
Highlights
- The award is $1,000.
- The application process is open to any graduating senior from high school pursuing a major/minor in music.
- The application process is open to any 1st, 2nd, 3rd yr (college student) pursuing a major/minor in music.
The Scholarship Recipient will be expected to:
- Attend and perform at our Dress Rehearsal on Friday night, May 11th, 2012
- Perform at our concert on Saturday night, May 12th, 2012
& Applications are to be postmarked by 12/03/2011
& Finalists will be contacted by 12/17/2011 in order to schedule an audition.
& Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 22nd, 2012.
