READING COMMUNITY SINGERS
Then Now
The Reading Community Singers is a chorus of 70 members male and female, young and old, brought together by a desire to sing and share our music with the community. You don’t need to audition to join us, and you don't need to be from Reading. We welcome anyone who loves to sing! The RCS performs holiday and spring concerts each year, and also sings at other venues ranging from sporting events to town celebrations to elderly housing.

Initially founded as the Women’s Choral Society in 1919, the Reading Community Singers is one of the oldest continuously running non-audition community choruses in the country. We just celebrated our 90th anniversary season, and we continue to grow in talent and numbers under the superb direction of Beth Mosier. Please check our schedule if you are interested in singing with us or attending one of our upcoming concerts. If you are a student planning to study music in college, you may also want to check out our annual music scholarship.

Our Mission:
To study the art of choral music and share the joy of singing with each other and members of the community. To provide an annual scholarship to a student who is pursuing a college degree with a major/minor in music.

Congratulations to Ian West our 2012 scholarship winner. View Details here.
